What is a recurring payment?
A recurring payment is an authorization for Mediacom to automatically pay a customer's monthly bill (cable television, Internet, telephone or other services) by any of the following methods:
  • Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) deduction from their savings or checking accounts
  • Credit Card
  • Debit Card

With recurring payments, customers can view their current billing statements or account history/status online, and download statements.

What is EcoBilling?
EcoBilling, is a paperless statement of all your monthly charges, which you receive electronically online instead of through the mail. With EcoBilling you can review your bill online and download and save it to your desktop. EcoBilling is an environmentally friendly and efficient way to receive your bill every month.
Does EcoBilling cost anything?
EcoBilling is a free service from Mediacom and can actually save time and money Ė there is no postage.
How do I register for EcoBilling?
Just click on "My Account" and follow the directions for New Users or Current Customers.
How secure is my online bill payment or account information?
Mediacom and third parties involved in the online services offered through our website employ several safety and security measures to protect your personal information. These include Secure Socket Layer (SSL) connections, 128-bit data encryption and User ID and password logins. Even with these measures in place, however, there is still a potential risk for the unauthorized access of your personal information. This risk isnít unique to Mediacom. All online services ultimately rely upon the Internet, which is a shared resource. You should be aware of the risk associated with any online transaction before using such services.
Once I register for a recurring payment how long does it take?
If you register within a billing cycle, it should take place by the time your next bill is issued. If you register during the same time your current paper bill is being processed it may take up to 1 billing cycle.
How will I know if my payment has been processed?

You will receive confirmation that your payment has been processed. You should keep a copy of this page for your records. You will also receive confirmation through your monthly bank statement or credit card statement.

You are responsible for timely payment of all amounts due as indicated in your Mediacom billing statement. For one-time electronic payments, you should submit your payment with sufficient time prior to your account due date in case delays in transmission or processing are encountered. If an electronic payment is not processed or completed by the date identified on your Mediacom billing statement, your amount due will be treated in accordance with Mediacom's late payment policies.

Is it possible to view last month’s bill statement online?
Yes. Select the View Statements tab on the left navigation bar. Your past available bill statements will be presented in a PDF file format for viewing with Adobe Reader software, and you can also download statements onto your desktop.
Will I still receive a copy of my bill in the mail?
Once you sign up for EcoBilling, you will no longer receive a monthly statement in the mail. Instead, you will be able to view your monthly statement online at the "My Account" section of the website.
Can I make a single payment online?
Customers can make a single payment using their bank account, or by debit or credit card, but must register each time they make a one-time payment. Making a single payment will not enroll you in EcoBilling.
If I use recurring monthly electronic payments, what do I do if the amount on my bill is incorrect?
Just call a Customer Service Representative at the phone number listed on your monthly statement.
Can I make changes to my customer information on the website?
You can change some personal information like your phone number and email address and bank and credit card information. For other changes, you still must contact a Customer Service Representative at the phone number located on your bill.
What if I forget or lose my Login ID or password?
Go to the "My Account" page. Click on the "Forgot Your Password?" and then, complete the requested fields. Your Login ID and password will be sent to you via email.
What if my Login ID or password is stolen?
You must maintain the confidentiality of your Login ID, password and any additional security information consistent with Mediacom Online Terms of Use. Your password and security protections are your responsibility and sharing this information may allow others to access your Mediacom account and to view the personal information you have entered on the "My Account" website pages. If you believe that your " My Account" Login ID, password or other security information has been lost or stolen, you must immediately notify us at customerservice@mediacomcc.com.
